Privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-10-17

This policy explains what personal data EuroFuelPrice (“we”) processes when you use this website, and your rights. We collect as little as possible. Contact: hello@eurofuelprice.com.

Calculators and settings

All calculators run in your browser. The distances, tank sizes and other values you type are not sent to us. To save you retyping, some tools remember your last inputs in your browser’s local storage on your device. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by a content delivery network (Cloudflare). To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, the provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time. This is necessary to provide the website (legal basis: legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is kept only for a short period.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we will use aggregated, privacy-friendly statistics or ask for your consent where the law requires it, and update this policy first.

Advertising

To keep the tools free, we may in future show advertising, for example through Google AdSense. If we do:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a certified consent management platform before any non-essential cookies are set or personal data is used for ads. You can refuse, and change your choice at any time via the privacy settings link that will appear on every page. Without consent, only non-personalised or limited ads may be shown, where permitted.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests are simple; email us.

Children

This website is intended for adult drivers and travellers and is not directed at children.

Changes

We will update this policy before introducing advertising or analytics. The effective date above shows the latest version.
